MUMBAI, MAR 28: Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Commission (MRTPC) has issued an ad interim stay order against Bombay Chemicals Ltd from issuing false and misleading advertisements about its own product and disparaging the product of Godrej Sara Lee, especially Good Knight Mosquito Coil.

Bombay Chemicals has published advertisements in print and visual media making false allegations that the Godrej Sara Lee product Good Knight mosquito coil contains harmful poisons chemicals while their own brand Tortoise is free from pisonous chemicals. On complete analysis it was found that Good Knight contains pyrethrum, which is an approved insecticide under Insecticides Act and does no harm to human being.
