Shiv Sena calls again for action against PMO officials LUCKNOW, MARCH 30: Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Manohar Joshireiterated the Shiv Sena's demand for action against PMO officials who had been named in the Tehelka expose on Defence deals. ``We party leaders feel the Prime Minister needs time because he has promised to punish the guilty soon,'' Joshi said. Addressing reporters after a meeting of Shiv Sena workers here, he said an investigation is necessary because many names are yet to be revealed. Asked why Sena workers and leaders did not stand firm on their demand for action against the officials, Joshi said: ``Babasaheb had raisedthe demand. He is the one who takes the final decision on any issue.''Joshi lashed out at the BJP for dilly-dallying on the issue of construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. ``The party which captured power using the name of Ram Mandir and Hindutva has forgotten both and doing nothing,'' he said and added his party would not compromise on the Hindutva issue. Joshi declared that Bal Thackeray, who never let them down, was theirundisputed leader. He asked Shiv Sainiks to launch a movement for theconstruction of Ram Temple. After Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena should bestronger in UP and it was possible only by raising such issue or fightingfor these, he said. hen asked why the Shiv Sena did not raise the issue of Ram Temple construction earlier, he said his party had committed to support theNational Democratic Alliance Government for a full five years.
