‘I practise yoga every morning’

Tell us about your daily diet.
In the morning, I have pears and apples with a hot chocolate drink. I also like poha for breakfast. For lunch,I start with beetroot or carrot juice and then I have brown rice, dal with 2-3 vegetables and yogurt. Dinner is pasta or paneer. For snacks, I opt for dry bhel. 

What is tour exercise routine?
I practice yoga for an hour-and-a-half each morning. I also take a walk whenever I can.
Is there anything that you binge upon?
Chocolates. I simply cannot resist them. 

What is your favourite cuisine?
Japanese. I also like Thai and Chinese. I’m not a fussy eater.
What would you do if you have to lose or put on weight in a hurry?
I don’t believe in short-cuts. Since I was very skinny, it did take me a while to gain weight, which I did with naturopathy. But to lose weight, discipline is the only key. 

How many times have you failed to stick to a diet?
I don’t believe in a fad diets. They are utter failures. So, I don’t follow any prescribed diet. 

What is your idea of perfect health?
To be healthy, one needs to eat everything (in limited portions). I feel that people should stop fretting about their weight; everybody has an internal system that keeps a check on one’s shape and size.
