Rally-cum-expedition organised to motivate students to join NCC
A team of around 50 members, including 10 girl cadets from NCC, Pune, participated in a cycle rally-cum-expedition to and fro Sinhagad Fort recently.
The aim of the initiative was to spread awareness about environment conservation, develop leadership qualities among cadets and motivate students to join NCC, an official release said.
The rally was flagged off by Brig Naresh Kumar, Group Commander, NCC Group Pune, and was led by Lt Col Shashikant Jadhav, Officer Commanding 3 Maharashtra Armoured Squadron, NCC Pune
