12 soldiers killed as Taliban ambush convoy

    Twelve soldiers were killed and 10 injured when Taliban fighters struck an army convoy in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal region while 10 rebels were killed when troops repulsed the attack. The convoy was targeted with an improvised explosive device in North Waziristan.
