14 illegal cylinders seized from BRS Nagar

The District Food and Civil Supply department today conducted raids at J-Block of Bhai Randhir Singh Nagar and seized 14 illegal LPG cylinders.

According to Rakesh Bhaskar,DFSC ( West),“We conducted raids at three shops in J-Block and found that domestic cylinders were being used to fill up commercial and underweight cylinders upto five kg. We have seized nine domestic cylinders of 14.2 kg each from the spot and five small cylinders of five kilograms each.”

Meanwhile Sham Sunder,inspector of the District Food and Civil Supply department said,“We have also seized consumer copies of some gas agencies and after checking,we will take action.”
