16 killed in blast in Pak madrassa used as bomb-making factory

    Local residents collect their belongings from the rubble at the site of a massive explosion in Mian Channu near Multan.

    Rescue efforts were hampered by large crowds that gathered at the site of the blast. The lack of earth moving equipment also affected efforts by rescue workers to sift through the rubble.

    Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani condemned the blast and ordered authorities to launch an immediate inquiry into the incident so that the culprits could be brought to justice.

The foolish concessions given by the govt's are misused by these groups in every country including China. Before behaving as sectarian and un secular and pro terror group government, the governing people must consider the big picture. What is necessity of having madrassa as education institutions. Govt must Open the government schools in each and every corner and shut down all these madrassas which are used only to spread hatred and terror. Why any religion should have a school to spread religion. Education must be freed from the clutches of these terrorists. I think ultimately governing bodies are answerable to welfare of majority as much as for minoroties. They can not ignore the welfare of majority under the name of psuedo secularism to stay in power.

Some of these madrassas are sponsored by Saudis and the others are trained by ISI to use against India.I have no sympathy for Pakis who have sponsored against India and now have to face themselves.
