Actor Aftab Shivdasani says he is happy with his performance in '1920-Evil Returns', a sequel to the 2008 film '1920'.
The 33-year-old, who will be seen in the horror film for the first time, said he won't say much about his performance and left the onus completely on the audience.
"This was a completely different type of movie from my earlier roles. But I put everything to bring the character to life," said Aftab.
Aftab, who had earlier acted in Bhatt productions like 'Kasoor' and 'Awara Paagal Deewana', said his character was nicely portrayed by director Bhushan Patel in the movie, which also stars Tia Bajpai.
The film is under production stage, and is scheduled to release in June 2012.
Reiterating his wish to act in a Bengali film, Aftab, who came to the city for a product launch, said, "There are several directors here I would love to work with."
Kolkata-born Bollywood actor Nisha Kothari, who was also present at the launch, said she wanted to return to her home place.
Nisha has confirmed the reports that she will doing Ram Gopal Varma's thriller 'Stalker', insisting she would be the female lead.
Nisha, who has acted in Varma's films including 'Sarkar', 'Darna Zaroori Hai', 'Ram Gopal Verma Ki Aag' and 'Agyaat-The Unknown', said she would be portraying the image of a girl next-door in the film.
"It will be a lot different from the earlier films of the production house. My character will be more grounded," she said.
Asked whom she would love to work with among the current league of Bengali directors, Nisha said, "I have one wish, to work with Rituparno Ghosh. I hope he is listening through you (the media). I seriously wish to give back something to the city where I was born," she said.
