  • Australia, who have won all four Test matches in 2007, finished top in the ratings with a success percentage of 100.00. They were also on top in last year’s ratings with a perfect success rate of 100.00

    New Zealand slumped to ninth position this year. They finished fourth last year with a success percentage of 50.00

    Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan and Anil Kumble shared the top spot among the bowlers. They took 49 wickets each. Muralitharan took these wickets at 22.30 in eight matches while Kumble got 49 at 29.40 in 10 matches

    No bowler crossed the 50-wicket mark this year

    South African Jacques Kallis topped the batting in 2007 with 1210 runs in nine matches at an average of 86.42 with five centuries and six fifties
