In the ongoing drive of vehicle checking at nakas launched by the Commissioner of Police, police recently caught two youngsters with 25 gram smack worth Rs 12 lakh. A stolen motorcycle was recovered from two other youths. In Sanjay Gandhi colony, Harpreet Singh and Gaurav Nagpal who were riding a motorcycle were stopped by the police. Both were in the age group of 18-20 years. While Gaurav had 10 gram smack in his pocket, Harpreet had 15 gram smack. In another incident, Gurdeep Singh and Jagjeet Singh were riding a motorcycle in Issa Nagri which had been stolen from Kidwai nagar a few days ago. All had been booked, said DCP Gurpreet Singh Toor.
