Pak has indicated that India's sixth dossier on 26/11 is inadequate for taking action against LeT founder Hafiz Saeed.

Union Home Minister P Chidamabaram has told a private television channel that he may not respond to further demands from the Pakistan Government for information on the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai.

Stating that the process has reached a point of exhaustion and with no tangible results, Chidambaram said Islamabad's description of India's sixth dossier on the attack as a ''rehash'' could be the last straw as far as New Delhi is concerned.

Chidambaram's comments came as Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Thursday that the latest dossier provided by India on the Mumbai attacks as a "rehash of information" contained in previous documents, indicating that it is inadequate for taking action against LeT founder Hafiz Mohammad Saeed.

"The last dossier from India was a rehash of information received in previous dossiers," Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit also told a weekly news briefing.

The spokesman did not say how Pakistan intended to deal with Saeed, for whom Interpol recently issued a Red Corner Notice.

The trial of suspects arrested by Pakistani authorities in connection with the Mumbai attacks is proceeding and Islamabad is "serious about bringing the perpetrators to book," Basit said.

At the same time, he said, Pakistan "still believes that the composite dialogue is the only way forward." He also made it clear that if the stalled dialogue were to be resumed, "it would not be a favour to Pakistan because talks and exchange of views is the only way" to improve ties between the two sides.

Attitude of Pakistan on 26./11 Attack in MumbaiBy: C.R, Nair | 06-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward It is a known fact that Pakistan will never take action against its citizens who have committed terror activities in India because Pakistan State is the sponsors and abetters of these terror acts against India although they may pretend/declare to be a peace loving country. The whole world knows that Pakistan is a rogue nation when it concerns India. Otherwise, what is the point of sheltering and protecting Dawood Ibrahim like terrorists/underworld goons in Pakistan and denying their presence in Pakistan. At least these goons are Indian nationals and can be handed over to India to face justice in India, if Pakistan was sincere and genuinely interested in peaceful co-existence. But they will never do it because their main agenda is to harm India. Revenge and jealousy are their only relationship with India. Having said this, I would also like to emphasise that there is a section of common people who are peace-loving and good in Pakistan also but the politicians would not let them.
26/11 india may not respondBy: mohan | 05-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward it looks like whatever dossier is given will not satisfy pakistan. they will go on saying that it is not sufficint or it will not stand scrutiny of court or it is fake or it is doctered. even if he goes to court you can be hundred percent sure court will release him either as fcats not proved, say for eg if there was actual movie of him sitting in delibrations against india ( which i dont tink exixts) even then pakistan will say it was not him picture or picture is trick picture made by bollywood.pakistan wants india to be its perptual enemy for next hundreds of years then so be it
What happened Chiddu, tired so soon?By: Sumangal Pande | 05-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward Well, why not, now? I thought this funny dhoti clad Chiddu was enjoying this game of musical chairs with his Paki brothers. Why this sudden wisening up?
If no action from Pak, NO NEED FOR TALKSBy: Umesh | 04-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward It is a well known truth now that Pakistan would not take any action against anybody on earth, who are enimies of India. In fact, they will do everything possible who are anti-India. Like in the case of Dawood Ibrahim and all thebunches of terrorists. They as someone in this colum mentioned, they got humiliated defeat in all the wars fought with India. The main and never forgetting humiliation was the mass surrender of 90000 aremy personnel at the end of war that creatd the Bangaldesh nation. They want to take revenge, but in vain. A war will never give them victory, every other army chiefs tried their level best by sending their own army personnel in disguised terrorists name, but again in vain. So FORGET ABOUT COMPOSIT DIALOGUE. Just guard our boarder, shoot anythng that moves in the boarder. and be vigilent to protect our cities and population. To fight Pakistan, try to isolate it from the rest of the world, while trying all possible manner that USA take out all its nuclear arsenls
India is responding, recently they expressed their willingness to conduct thermonuclear tests,By: Signals | 04-Sep-2009 Reply | Forward India is responding, recently they expressed their willingness to conduct thermonuclear tests, What is the point of responding through dossiers and dialog. Neither of them is a favour to Pakistan, and the relationship can only improve through teting thermonuclear devices on Pakistani and Chinese cities. That will be the right way to deal with Sayeed Basit Malik and Zardari. Musharraf has wisely moved to UK/Saudi.
