Police identified the deceased as Divakar Salvi (48), Sunil Mhatre (43) and Bhalchandra Mhatre (46). Their friend Vijendra Jumledar (47), suffered chest and chin injuries. They were on their way to Karjat railway station to take a train to Tirupati when the accident took place. The trailer driver, Sher Ali Rehman Ali (35), has been booked.
