4 killed as speeding truck overturns in Noida

“The 10-tyre carrier was carrying steel products from Delhi to Dadri. Eyewitnesses told us that the truck was being driven at high speed. While negotiating a turn,the front left tyre of the truck burst and because of momentum and the weight of the goods,it overturned. The truck was carrying 4,460 kg of supplies,” a senior officer said.

“Guddu,Vishal and Suraj were employed with the Thompson Press India. They were crushed by the truck and the goods that rolled out of the truck,” the officer said.

The driver of the vehicle,Amir Ali,has been arrested. “We have charged for rash and negligent driving,” a senior officer said.
