4 sustain burns in forest fire

As raging forest fire spread in the jungles of Mashbora,near here,four persons,including three women,were injured while trying to douse the fire.

Reports said three persons of Dhaar village sustained serious burn injuries during the day and another woman,Rita of Panjor village,was also injured.

All four have been admitted to IGMC Shimla and stated to be out of danger.The victims include include Mohinder,Dimple and Vidya.

Fire has also been noticed in the forests of Taradevi,close to Shimla and several dense forests of Solan,Mandi and Hamirpur districts.

The forest department has issued appeals to local panchayats and residents to help in prevention and control of the fires.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) announced its first list of 14 candidates for the Bihar assembly polls, with its state unit chief Raju Tiwary and leader Hulas Pandey among the nominees. As per the seat-sharing arrangement, LJP (RV) will contest 29 seats, while BJP and JD(U) will contest 101 seats each. The remaining 15 candidates will be announced soon.
