As many as 49 cases of polio have been detected in Bihar,a report said. Most of the cases were found in Kosi belt,where due to flood the polio immunisation programme was hampered,the polio status report said. Out of the total detected cases,16 are highly virulent p1 cases,it said. Out of the 236 polio cases reported across India,181 cases were found in Uttar Pradesh,four in Delhi and one each in Rajasthan and Uttrakhand,the report said.
