Five persons were booked on Thursday on charges of attempt to murder,wrongful restraint,voluntarily causing hurt,rioting and offences punishable under the Arms Act on a complaint filed by local municipal councillor R P Sharmas son Ricky Sharma. In his complaint,Ricky said the accused,whom he has identified,intercepted him near Silvi Park in Phase X on Wednesday night. They intentionally threw me off my bike and one of them held me at gunpoint while the others assaulted me without any provocation, Ricky said. He is admitted in the Civil Hospital while the police have launched a hunt to nab the assailants.
