An average of 56.57 percentage of voting was reported from the seven polling stations of three parliamentary constituencies - Rajgarh, Sagar and Morena - which went to the repoll today in Madhya Pradesh, Election Commission officials said here.
Repolling was ordered in these places following violence and other issues on April 30 - the second and final phase of general elections in Madhya Pradesh.
Around 62.63 per cent men and 50.50 per cent women practised their franchise at one polling booth in Rajgarh, two in Sagar and four in Morena parliamentary seats, they added.
In Rajgarh's polling booth number 190 (Mahuakheda), Sagar's polling booth number 03 (Madraratansi) and 06 (Chandvad) and Morena's polling booth number 63 (Piparghan), 34 (Nanadgangoli), 21 (Morena town) and 71 (Harigavan), the polling per cent was 54.72 per cent, 63.69, 58.34, 59.22, 42.59, 60.07 and 59.95 per cent respectively, they said.
