65 graves point to largest Harappan burial site next door to capital

    Prof Upinder Singh of the Department of History, Delhi University, expressed enthusiasm about the project. “If such a large Harappan cemetery has been discovered, I am sure it is going to be of significant help in historical research,” she said. “The entire fraternity of research scholars and academics would be looking forward to knowing about the findings at the site.”

India today in a mixture of people with Dravidian, Indo-European, Mongolian (remember the Moghuls whom were desecended from Genghis Khan's Mongol horde!) and who knows what others.However the Northern people of India should shed any notion of superioroty over the Dravidian speaking peoples of Southeren India as they aren't really that very "Aryan" and hence superior. I am of Indian origin (Southeren Indian) and I come from Malaysia. The Indian popuplation in Malaysia consists mainlym of Southern Indians, icluding folk from Tamil Nadu, Kerela, Jaffna Tamils, Telegus and a number of Punjabis who are mainly of the Sikh faith as well as a s small number of people who are Northern Indians who speak Hindi, Gujarati and these Northern Indian Hindus segregate themselves from Southeren Indians. They see themselves as seperate and often insult Southeren Indians.

Read "The Invasion That Never Was" by Michel Danino/Sujata Nahar for a complete and referenced account of how the Britishers brought up the invasion theory to divide us. It has been highly acclaimed by many. Moreover the Aryan Invasion theory was refuted by Dales and Kennedy between 1960-1980. Why our government want to stick with the same is beyond my comprehension. This invasion theory should had been removed from our school text book long ago.

    india belongs to dravidiansBy: dravidian | 04-Mar-2009 Reply | Forward yes, we know that history.....aryans (brahmins)came from south asia to indus valley....they captured, killed and raped dravidians and made them slaves (currently south india) and then later islam came to india from south as well......so conclusion......India belongs only to dravidians.......so why hindus and muslims are fighting......give them to dravidians and both relgions should move in search of seperated country. ahahaa.....funny except aryans killing dravidians........which is a true story.

Besides the real original people are not even the so called Dravidians but the adivasis. The aborigines/tribals are the oldest people everywhere in the world where they are present.
