Then he drugged her with some intoxicant and hit her head and face with a big stone. Later,Vahajoodin allegedly poured acid on Naseemas face and other body parts to destroy evidence. Singh said Vahajoodin was also under pressure from his wife to end ties with Naseema, who used to regularly visit their house. After the murder, the accused was at the forefront of Naseemas last rites. He even accompanied the grieving family members to Uttar Pradesh, where the deceased was cremated on Wednesday. During interrogation,he broke down and confessed to the murder, the SP said. Naseemas mobile phone and his blood-stained shirt have been recovered Vahajoodins possession, the police said.
