ArcelorMittal quarterly net income rises 5%

    The world’s largest steel maker ArcelorMittal on Wednesday posted a net income of $2.37 billion for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008, an increase of 5.37 per cent compared with the same period a year ago. The company had a net income of $2.25 billion in the year-ago period.
