The 29-year-old air hostess,who was arrested on Tuesday night for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and abusing cops,was released on a bail of Rs 25,000 by the Borivali Magistrate Court on Wednesday. Nima Lulla was granted bail after her father Tulsidas apologised to the judge for her behaviour and stood guarantee for her actions. Tulsidas told the court he would see to it that his daughter does not repeat such behaviour. Lulla,who works for Jet Airways,was driving her Maruti Swift car rashly on the busy Chincholi Bunder Road when she allegedly hit an autorickshaw. When the auto driver tried to reason with her,Lulla began abusing him. An officer from Bangur Nagar police station said while she was fighting with the auto driver,a beat police marshal tried to intervene. But she abused the policeman as well. To control the situation,the marshal called a female police officer,but Lulla continued abusing. The drama did not end there. After she was taken to the police station,she created a scene and abused other officers. According to the police,Lulla was accompanied by two male friends,one of whom was her boyfriend Rakhil Shaswat. Lulla is going through a divorce and her husband is a pilot,the police said. Police officers claimed she had created a scene at Lokhandwala a few months ago. Ramesh Kadam,senior inspector of Bangur Nagar police station,said,We will send a detailed report of the womans case to the airline she works for. Her attitude last night was shocking as she not only created commotion on the busy link road,but also abused police officers under the influence of alcohol.
