All of eight,she has already grabbed eyeballs and has bagged a meaty role in Zee’s latest primetime offering. Chandigarh-based contestant from India’s Best Dramebaaz,Mehnaaz Mann will soon be seen on Zee TV’s new series,Ek Muthi Aasman,alongside actor Shilpa Shirodkar. Known for her moving delivery of dialogues and her act on the historic Jallianwala Bagh tragedy,Mann will now slip into the role of domestic worker Kamala’s (Shirodkar) daughter Kalpana,who grows up with her grandparents in a village near Panchgani. “It’s an amazing feeling when people recognise me on the streets after being a part of India’s Best Dramebaaz. Even my parents are getting calls for me to do ad films. I never dreamt that my life would change so much after participating in a reality show,” says Mehnaaz. She is equally excited about acting opposite Shirodkar. “I’m a bit nervous to make my debut on national television,” she adds. The show will go on air soon.
