Boy in girl’s room,her parents beat him to death

A 17-year-old was allegedly beaten to death by the parents of a girl after he had sneaked in her room in Jogeshwari West. Aamir Khan,50,and his wife Shakira have been arrested on charges of murdering Sadam Shaikh,who died at R N Cooper Hospital,the Oshiwara police said.

Police said the couple had found the teenager in their daughter’s room early Monday morning. Shakira noticed the lights in her daughter’s room were still on. “When she knocked on the door,she did not receive a response and she forced the door open,and found that Shaikh was with her daughter. Enraged she called her husband and the couple beat up the boy,tied him up and locked him in the bathroom,” said a police official.

Aamir and Shakira themselves called up the police and lodged a complaint that a robber had entered their house. Meanwhile,the daughter fled,apparently fearing her parents would beat her up too. When police reached the spot,they found Shaikh unconscious and admitted him to the hospital.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 9),KMM Prasanna said,“Aamir and Shakira have been booked for murder. They suspected their daughter was having an affair with the boy and he had been sneaking into her room since quite sometime.”

Shaikh was a resident of Malwani. The postmortem was conducted Tuesday.
