kolkata: Breaking her silence on P Chidambarams letter to the West Bengal CM,Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday demanded Buddhadeb Bhattacharjees resignation as he had remained silent on the existence of armed CPM camps in his reply to the letter. Chidambarams letter is serious,but the CMs reply is casual and vague. There is no mention on the main issue of existence of CPM armed camps, said Mamata at a press conference. Buddhadeb should quit as he has been brazenly violating the Constitution and unleashing state-sponsored terrorism in the name of curbing Maoists.

Forward Bloc wants PC sacked

Kolkata: Left Front partner Forward Bloc on Wednesday demanded the removal of P Chidambaram,alleging his letter to CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee amounted to interference in the affairs of the state and that the language he used was unacceptable. Following a two-day central executive committee meeting,party general secretary Debabrata Biswas said: Either you (PMManmohan Singh) explain the stand of the Centre or sack him (the Home Minister) immediately….
