Court to hear bail appeal today

A British court will hear the prosecution appeal against the decision to grant WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange bail on Thursday

LONDON: A British court will hear the prosecution appeal against the decision to grant WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange bail on Thursday,court officials said Wednesday. Assange,who is wanted for questioning in Sweden over alleged sex crimes,was granted 200,000 bail on Tuesday but Swedish authorities challenged the decision.

US Air Force blocks sites

WASHINGTON: The US Air Force has blocked from its network more than two dozen media websites,including The New York Times,that have posted secret US cables. Such a decision has been taken to avoid having classified incidents on our unclassified systems, US Air Force spokeswoman Maj Toni Tones told Fox News.
