Delhi blasts: Police release sketches of suspects

    The Delhi police on Tuesday released five sketches of three persons suspected to have planted the bombs in the national capital on Saturday.

    One of the sketches was that of the person who purportedly planted the bomb in Ghaffar market in Karol Bagh, while two sketches each were of the two men who placed the bombs near a building in Barakhamba road.

    "We appeal to the people to inform police if they happen to find those resembling to these sketches. Informer's identity will be kept secret," Delhi police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat said.

    The sketches were prepared with the help of at least five eye-witnesses, who claimed to have seen ‘planting of bombs’ in Ghaffar market and Barakhamba Road.

    The eye-witnesses, including a teenaged balloon seller, who saw suspected persons placing packets in dustbin at Central Park and Barakhamba Road were called to the Police Headquarters on Sunday to assist them in making sketches.

    Besides the teenaged boy, a father-son duo who sells breadrolls at Barakhamba Road were also among those called to the headquarters.

Quite often, political parties play a major role here as it happened in Gujarat massacre under their active participation. Some of the affected victims of the Gujarat killings of Feb 2002, have not either forgotten or forgiven their torture and killings and rape of their loved ones. According to AIDWA, in Rathikpoor of Thahot District, in the family of Bilkis alone, several women had been raped and several men had been brutally killed. It does not mean that her family should take revenge now by bombing and killing the other innocent. This is a big sin. But quite often those with a reduced moral fiber out of desperation, DO REVENGE killing. The perpetrators should come forward and ask for forgiveness for what they did. Peace and secularism are important for India to move forward as an advanced nation.

The only thing is in the entire episode is the lack of quickwit on the part of the witnesses. Such roadside vendors should be trained to act quickly in future course of actions. Had they got thast little training they should have alerted security personel immediately may be , most probably the culprits would have been caught redhanded. Turaga SP

Though educated, they indulged in such insinuation against Islam that expose nothing but their state of mind. Lets examine what Islam says about brotherhood. In Quran, some 1500 years ago, it has been declared that one should respect other religions. Quran has directed Mohammed PBUH to tell the non-believers that your religion is good to you and mine is good to me. It is the first and foremost message of brotherhood and peaceful co-existence with mutual respect for each other's religious belief and practices. Islam never ever support violence of any kind. In the last message from the Mount Arfat, Prophet Mohammed PBUH declared among other things never to kill any one without a cause. It is haram. He warned his followers to be faithful and respect others. This peace loving religion is being more sinned against than sinning. People have heaped abuses on this religion and Muslims alike for the acts of a few misguided youth. One cannot blame the entire community for the wrongs of a few. Could this be the same with Hindus when Bajrang Dal and VHP cadres are rioting against the hapless Christians? Could the entire Hindu community be called communal? It is not so and even among Hindus, a majority of them believe in peaceful co-existence and participate in other religious functions. India is known for its diverse culture and unity in diversity. Why some are out to disturb peace and tranquility of the country?
