Three eunuchs were abducted and sexually assaulted by armed men while they were attending a wedding in Pakistan's Punjab province,according to a media report today. The incident occurred at Draham near Dera Ghazi Khan on Friday. The three eunuchs said they were abducted by four armed men who fled after raping them,The Express Tribune newspaper reported. Police registered a case following an application from the eunuchs. Police officials said the eunuchs were called to perform at a wedding at one Abdul Qayyum's house. "We had been invited for a dance performance and we arrived at the function together sometime in the evening," one of the eunuchs was quoted as saying. Four armed men abducted the eunuchs when they were about to leave the venue of the wedding late at night. "We were counting our earnings when someone gagged me from behind," said Kanwal. The eunuchs said the men gagged and locked them in a room,where they were raped. The eunuchs also said they had seen the men who allegedly committed the crime at the wedding. After several hours of abuse,the armed men left the eunuchs in a deserted field and fled. Draham police station chief Malik Ramzan Shahid said: "We are conducting an investigation and have questioned guests who were at the wedding. The guests have confirmed that the four men attended the wedding but they are nowhere to be found right now."
