Gulberg massacre: After Modi,SIT summons former BJP general secy

The Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday summoned Nalin Bhatt,Gujarat BJP general secretary in 2002,in connection with the Gulberg society massacre....

The Supreme Court-appointed Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday summoned Nalin Bhatt,Gujarat BJP general secretary in 2002,in connection with the Gulberg society massacre.

This comes a day after Chief Minister Narendra Modi was summoned for the same riot case,following a complaint by Zakia Jafri whose husband Ehsan Jafri,a former Congress MP,was among 70 people killed in the massacre. Bhatt has since fallen out with Modi and resigned from the state BJP.

Asked if there will be a change in his deposition,Bhatt said,I believe in speaking the truth.
