Accredition to Ruby Hall
Ruby Hall Clinic found reasons to smile after being assessed for compliance with 100 standards over 10 chapters. Thanks to Dr Sujata Malik (MD and Accreditation Coordinator) and her in-house team, the hospital has now become first accredited hospital from National Accreditation Board of Hospitals (NABH) and health care providers in Pune. Till date only 35 hospitals in the country have been accredited from NABH, stated a press release.

Celebration time
Aditya Birla Memorial Hospital, Chinchwad celebrated their third anniversary by announcing the launch of some specialty clinics like Stroke clinic, Obesity clinic and Apne Pairon Pe clinic. Chief guest Rajshree Birla, chairperson of the foundation, inaugurated the Aditya Birla Fertility Centre. Earlier this month, Aditya Birla hospital launched first Holmium laser unit in Pimpri- chinchwad to its urology department.

IMA complements BMC
Indian Medical Association welcomed the convictions of bombay based doctors for misusing the Pre Conception and Prenatal diagnostic techniques act and congratulated the Bombay Municipal Corporation for booking the guilty, who could establish and convince the court about the heinous crime these two lady doctors have committed. IMA stated that it will intervene for maintaining the maximum punishment if the convicted doctors appeal to the higher courts. It has requested the government to take full interest and not to allow them from abusing the law.
