    Missing woman reunited with family
MOHALI: The Universal Disabled Caretaker Social Welfare Society, an NGO operating from Padiala village in Mohali, reunited a young Chandigarh woman with her family after giving her shelter for a fortnight. Sunila, a resident of Sector 38, Chandigarh, was found roaming aimlessly near Sahoran village in Mohali on October 31. An autorickshaw driver took the mentally-ill woman to the NGO’s centre. “Since she was even unable to reveal her whereabouts except uttering her name, she was lodged in our centre and put under treatment for her ailment besides circulating her photo for locating her family,” society spokesperson Rajinder Kaur said. Finally, Sunila’s neighbour approached the society with a pamphlet having her photo and identified her. Soon, her sister was called and Sunila was handed over in the presence of police and local witnesses.
