Cricketer Irfan Pathan’s father, Mehmood Khan, and three others have been accused of swindling Rs 60 lakh by one Sakina Patel.

A case in this regard was filed at a criminal court here on Tuesday.

In her complaint, Sakina alleged that she had given the Power of

Attorney of her ancestral property at Limbdi Faliya in Tandalja to them after Mehmood Khan promised to pay her Rs 60 lakh.

“It has been six months now, but they are yet to pay the amount. I handed them the papers. They have also faked signatures,” said Patel.

She further alleged that the documents of her property had been faked by two persons — Shabbir Patel and Rafique Agewan. She has also named city-based architect Inayat Ali in the case.

The court has ordered an inquiry. Pathan's family, however, refused to comment on the issue.
