Angelina Jolie has reportedly told Jennifer Aniston to back off from partner Brad Pitt in a text message from Pitt's mobile phone.

The Hollywood superstars are considered arch enemies and reports claim that the 'Tomb Raider' actress is not happy with Pitt's growing closeness to his ex-wife.

Pitt and Jolie have six children together and the actress recently said in an interview that they are planning to adopt more children.

'Look' magazine has quoted insider sources saying that Jolie, who is upset over split rumours with Pitt, sent the warnings via Pitt's mobile and signed them off with her initials, AJ, Daily Mail reported.

Meanwhile, a separate report in 'Now' magazine claims Aniston, 40, has been sending presents to Pitt's office in an attempt to stay friendly in case his relationship with Jolie breaks down.

"Jen is such a thoughtful person. She sends little gifts to his Plan B production offices in LA if she spots something he might like and she'll send him daily motivators - quotes from self-help books she reads about staying positive," an insider was quoted by the Now magazine.

Aniston recently broke-off with her on and off boyfriend singer John Mayer and since then she has been linked to actor Gerard Butler and her 'She's Just Not That Into You' co-star Bradley Cooper.
