Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola,starring Imran Khan,Anushka Sharma and Pankaj Kapur,is almost complete,with only a few days of shooting remaining. Co-produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Productions and Fox Star Studios,the film is slated to release by the end of this year.

Patchwork and some scenes pending for Zilla Ghaziabad

Lootera schedule in June

The next schedule of Vikramaditya Motwa -ne’s Lootera is scheduled for June when Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha will head for Dalhousie. This schedule was earlier cancelled because of heavy snowfall in the area and is now being held in the summers.

Saawan Kumar launches Baniye Ki Moonchh

Saawan Kumar Tak recorded the first song of his Baniye Ki Moonchh with singer K K at Mumbai’s Krishna Studio on April 14. Rajesh Roshan has composed the music while Kumar has written the lyrics. Produced and directed by Saawan Kumar,the script of the film is penned by Sanjay Masoom. The casting for the film is in progress.

Zanjeer remake takes off

Apoorva Lakhia started shooting for the remake of Zanjeer in Mumbai,from April 13. Ram Charan Teja,Priyanka Chopra,Arjun Rampal,Mahie Gill and Sonu Sood comprise the principal cast. The Zanjeer remake is produced by Amit Mehra.
