AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi’s holidays have become a big mystery for Congressmen. He was on New Year’s vacation when his mother was admitted to hospital with chest infection, returning only after her discharge. Till date, partymen are unwilling to confirm whether he was holidaying in Almora or in the Maldives. Having returned and complained publicly about his mother being a workaholic, Rahul flew to Pune for paragliding. Back home in Delhi momentarily, he then flew to Japan on Saturday evening as part of a CII delegation. From there he is said to have plans to go to the Maldives. Even AICC general secretaries and those associated with his office never have any idea about his whereabouts. While Rahul’s PA, Kanishka Singh, was not available for comment, Meenakshi Natarajan, the AICC secretary attached with Rahul, said that she too does not know of his itinerary.
