Leaders of various political parties have joined hands to bring forth flaws in the newly constituted voters list in the Gurgaon parliamentary constituency.

A press conference held on Tuesday announced this. The meet was attended by representatives of BJP and BSP, the former MLA of the ruling Congress party Dharambir Gauba, and two civil bodies — Matadata Jagrookta Manach and Mission Gurgaon Development. “We have traced over 50,000 entries that appear to be duplicate,” they said.

Talking about the press conference Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon, Rajender Kataria said: “It is unlikely that such a thing is possible since we issued the draft list to RWAs, political parties, etc. However, in case we find any flaws, we will initiate necessary action.”
