Manmohan behind ruckus at PAC meet: Gadkari

BJP president Nitin Gadkari alleged that the ruckus was created at the "instance" of the PM.

With Congress and DMK members stalling the crucial PAC meeting convened to finalise its report on the 2G spectrum allocation,BJP president Nitin Gadkari on Thursday alleged that the ruckus was created at the “instance” of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh as the role of the PMO in the entire episode has been “exposed”. In serious allegations,he said four senior Cabinet ministers “controlled” and “monitored” the activities.

While Gadkari did not take the names of any ministers, his party leader and PAC member Kalraj Mishra alleged that P Chidambaram,Kapil Sibal,P K Bansal and V Narayanswamy “orchestrated” the trouble from behind the scenes.

“When it became clear that Congress leaders would be exposed and the role of the PMO in allocation of 2G spectrum would come to light, the Congress and DMK members created the trouble at the instance of the PM. Four Cabinet ministers were monitoring the activities,” Gadkari said.

He said the Congress has always resorted to such “undemocratic” means and indulged in such “shameful” acts whenever it has found itself in trouble. “It is a black day for Parliamentary democracy,” he added.

Mishra said the Lok Sabha Speaker should take cognizance of the events at the PAC meeting and take action against members who created trouble.
