Pak Prez Zardari said that he will not allow country's soil to be used to launch an attack on any 'friend or foe'.

Acknowledging that non-state actors operating from Pakistan were "its responsibility", President Asif Ali Zardari has said that he will not allow the country's soil to be used to launch an attack on any "friend or foe".

"Yes, definitely. I do not shrug away from that position. Anybody from my soil is my responsibility," he told 'Newsweek' magazine when asked to comment about US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice's statement that "non-state" actors on Pakistan's soil are still its responsibility.

Zardari said his administration has started combing the whole region (from where the outlawed Lashkar-e-Taiba operates) for all non-state actors and "we have made certain arrests."

Asked whether he thinks he can shut the LeT down, the President said he will not allow anybody to have the capability to engage in terror attacks.

"Nobody will be allowed to use Pakistan soil for any form of aggression toward any friend or foe," Zardari said.

Give us a Time frameBy: Sriram Kuppuswamy | 17-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward Such a small land, can they give us a time frame within which they can identify all LeT guys and to them behind bars. If they cant do this let them allow India to do this, as the world is allowing US to operate in many countries for seraching 9/11 terrorists.
Pakistan's responsibilityBy: Ashwin | 17-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward Oh Yeah sure. If non-state actors are Pakistan's responsibility then they must face this responsibility and prepare for the consequences as well. Pakistan cannot accept responsibility and shrink away from the consequences. If non-state actors are Pakistan's resposibility then pakistan is responsible for sponsoring terrorism and should be labelled a terrorist state.
Zardari's AcceptanceBy: Iquebal | 17-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward I don't care what Zardari says my experience here in Canada is that 90% of the Pakistani people hate Indians, irrespective of their faith. I think they support these terrorists just to get some sadist plessure out of it and they are jealous of India's success . They also love to give a bad name Indian Muslims.India should never trust Pakistan, whether its Zardari or Musharraf they are all same for us. We as a nation should stand up against them for the sake of our mother land.
Overt relationBy: chengara | 21-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward Your judgement to a certain degree is correct, as I too find here in Germany the pattern.Extreme intolerantpropgandist wants india to bleed and got destroyed...justpure GREED of thatfabulous nation.Manybrainwashed madrasasyouth fall into their trap in the name of religion.
Pak ResponsibilityBy: Freind of India | 17-Dec-2008 Reply | Forward When Pak President accepts the responsibility then India should handover the bills to Pak for repair the properties damaged/destroyed due to his country's so called non state actor actors.
