Oppn bandh a complete flop: Congress

Dubbing the Bharat Bandh as complete flop except in some Opposition-ruled states where it was a state-sponsored initiative,the Congress on Monday accused both Left parties and the NDA of playing negative politics and indulging in sensationalism over the issue of the fuel price hike.

AICC spokesman Abhishek Manu Singhvi said,Not that we are happy to increase it (fuel prices) but without bitter medicine this nations health will not improve. He accused Opposition parties of having double standards reminding them that prices of petroleum products were increased many times during NDA rule.
