This one’s a sure shot delight for architecture and history lovers, for the Hungarian photographic exhibition is just about that. As part of the Hungarian cultural festival an exhibition of world heritage photographs are on display at Government Art Gallery- Sector 10. The focus is on eight Hungarian cities, each with a history, speciality and pull of its own. You can also read interesting facts and specifics on each view.
The first cluster takes you through Budapest with shots of the Opera, the Danube twinkling in the reflection of the bridge lights. There are also images of the splendid building of the Matthias Church, The Parliament and the Hero’s Square. You can also get a tour of the village of Holloko and its surroundings. While in one capture women dressed in colourful traditional costumes greet you, another one with a woman and child by the side of crucifix is touching. However its the caves of Aggtelek that take the breath away. Fascinating natural formations of Baradla and a concert being held inside them!
On till October 22.
