SP alleges nexus between Congress,BSP

Leader of Opposition in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly and a senior Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Shivpal Singh Yadav on Saturday alleged that the top leadership of Congress and BSP had a “tacit” understanding.

“Despite serious problems,failure of government machinery and demands for imposing president’s rule in the state,the Centre has not taken any step in this direction. This is because the top leadership of the Congress and the BSP shared a tacit understanding,” Yadav said.

On his party recently extending support to the Congress-led UPA government,Yadav said it was only to strengthen the secular forces.
