On the first day of admission at Delhi University, most colleges received a lukewarm response for the courses that have high cut-off. Most colleges are now readying their second cut-off list for most courses, including B Com and Economics (Hons).
At Hindu College where History (Hons) touch 99 per cent cut-off, six students had taken admission to the 39 seats available in the course by the end of Day One of admission process. Acting principal Dr. Pradyumn Kumar said the cut-off would be lowered in the second list.
B Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) at the college got eight and 13 students, respectively.
Ramjas College principal Dr Rajendra Prasad said a second cut-off list can be expected for Sciences and Humanities, but not for Commerce.
The second cut-off list will be declared on June 29.
