Germany is sharing substantial information with India on black money stashed overseas and will continue to co-operate in this regard, the countrys envoy to India Thomas Matussek said here on Friday. Matussek, who was interacting with mediapersons, said,Yes. We are doing that. Very substantial kind of information (we are sharing it with India). We are already doing it. He said the process was a technical issue and that both countries were satisfied with the progress being made in this regard. I can say that soon we hope to come to a satisfactory conclusion (on the issue), he said while announcing the 15-month programme series Germany and India 2011-2012: Infinite Opportunities. When asked whether Germany was sharing with India the names of those Indians who have accounts abroad,he said: I dont have it. I dont have the names of the account holders and I dont have the account numbers. On the Air Forces MMRCA deal, for which Eurofighter Typhoon, built by four nations including Germany has been shortlisted,he described India as an anchor of stability in the region and said that was why Germany was giving the best technology it possessed. Asked whether the ties between India and Germany would be affected if the Eurofighter is not shortlisted,he said,We dont take this hypothesis. We will work very very hard to show that our product is a very good product. we are not talking about plan B. We are concentrating on plan A. The Year of Germany in India commenced on Friday as Indias star percussionist Sivamani and Germanys solo percussionist Christoph Haberer came together for an open-air concert titled Infinite Rhythms at New Delhis Nehru Park.
