To secure the release of Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar and to demand his return to Germany,which has already agreed to take him back,the All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) and Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) will give a memorandum to the President Pratibha Devi Singh Patil on July 15. They will also hold a rally in Delhi on the same day and start a Civil Disobedience Movement. Karnail Singh Peermohammad,President AISSF told The Indian Express,During Civil Disobedience starting from July 15,the AISSF will launch a campaign urging the public to clog and burden the Postal Service by sending unstamped letters addressed to President demanding release of Bhullar to put pressure on the President to order the release of Bhullar. He said that the AISSF have asked Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and PPC Chief Captain Amrinder Singh to address the July 15,2011 rally to save Bhullar at Jantar Mantar. Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Punjab Pradesh Congress President Captain Amrinder Singh have already demanded the commutation of Bhullars sentence. Speaking at the July 15 rally will solidify their stand and commitment to save Bhullars life, said Peermohammad. He called for the support of SGPC Preisdent Avtar Singh Makkar and DSGMC Chief Sarnafor the Civil Disobedience Movement by addressing the July 15 rally,since they have already taken Bhullars family in their fold. The AISSF has asked all Sikh organisations,institutions and political parties to participate in the rally. Germany has already agreed to take Bhullar back,pay adequate compensation for his lengthy 'illegal custody and to issue a statement apologising for gross miscarriage of justice in his case.
