The Subramaniams shine again

Ace violinist and composer Dr. L. Subramaniam along with his son,Ambi Subramaniam,have recently completed an Indian classical tour of the US.

Ace violinist and composer Dr. L. Subramaniam along with his son,Ambi Subramaniam,have recently completed an Indian classical tour of the US,where he performed at the United Nations,New York,the Kennedy Center,Washington DC and the Warthom center,Houston.

The concert tour was a tremendous success,with packed audiences and standing ovations,a common feature at the maestro’s concerts.

At the United Nations,dignitaries present,included the UN Secretary-General Ban-ki Moon,the permanent Indian envoy to the UN,Hardeep Singh Puri,Chief of Staff Vijay Nambiar and ambassadors from several countries including Brazil,Serbia and South Korea. The concert at the Kennedy Center was held in collaboration with the Maximum India festival. The guests included the Indian ambassador to the US,Meera Shankar.
