Traffic diversions on Nov 25, 26

    The Traffic Police Department has come up with certain diversions to accommodate Mumbai Police’s parade march from Oberoi Hotel till Girgaum Chowpatty on November 26. Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sanjay Barve said, “The diversions shall be in place from November 25 so as to facilitate the rehearsal of the parade from 6 am to 11 am. The diversions will be removed immediately after the parade ends on November 26.” Besides the Marine Drive stretch, a function — Abhedya Mumbai, a music concert in the memory of martyrs and victims of 26/11 attacks — has been organised at the Gateway of India.

    CLOSED FOR NORTH-BOUND TRAFFIC
    * North bound traffic of D.Tata Road and N.S. Road from N.C.P.A. to Tukaram Omble chowk in Girgaon
    * Stretch of D. Tata Road — closed for all types of vehicles for North bound traffic from N.C.P.A to the Junction of Air India Building; U Turn for South Bound traffic at all junctions where U turn is allowed.
    * Stretch of Marine Drive from the Junction of Air India Building to the junction of Tukaram Omble Chowk Girgaon; U Turn for South Bound traffic at all junctions where U turn is allowed.

    CLOSED FOR SOUTH-BOUND TRAFFIC
    * South bound traffic of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Marg, Adams Street, Mahakavi Bhushan Marg, P Ramchandani Marg up to Arthur Bunder Road Junction (from 4 pm to 12 am on November 26).

    NO ENTRY
    * On D Tata Road for vehicles coming from Vinay K Shah Marg and Br Rajni Patel Marg; motorists may use Ramnath Goenka Marg, Br Rajni Patel Marg, and proceed towards North Mumbai by Maharshi Karve Road.
    * On N S Road for vehicles coming from Madam Cama Road and Dinshaw Wacha Road; motorists may use Jeevan Vima Marg, J Tata Road, Churchgate junction and proceed towards North Mumbai by M K Road.
    * On Princess Street Flyover for North Bound traffic; motorists advised to use M K Road to proceed towards North Mumbai.
