UPA govt helpless,none willing to take responsibility: BJP

He said the BJP had decided to kickstart nationwide agitations beginning from the party’s establishment day on April 6 to June 20 in order to focus on the sentiments of the people and liberate them from the misgovernance of the Congress and the UPA. “Dharnas,demonstrations,jan adalats will be held in villages,towns and cities throughout the country to highlight the rampant corruption perpetrated by the UPA government,its failure to check price rise,its dilly-dallying approach to bring black money from abroad and take action against those responsible for the sale and purchase of MPs,’’ he said. “The agitations will continue till this Congress government mends its ways. In case,it does not,the BJP’s Jan Andolan will compel it out of power.’’

The BJP president,who is on a two-day maiden visit to Jharkhand,alleged that due to faulty policies of the Manmohan Singh government the people were made to bear with the back-breaking price hike.

Asked about the party’s strategy for the Assembly polls in four states — West Bengal,Puducherry,Tamil Nadu and Assam — he replied that it would soon be made public. “This time we will definitely win four-five seats each in Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu,’’ he said.
