US President Barrack Obama seemed disconnected with his usual self this week as he made a series of errors on the public platform.

It first started in the beginning of the week on Monday during his speech at the White House when one of the teleprompter screens holding his speech crashed to the floor and shattered into pieces.

A startled Obama said "Oh, goodness, Sorry about that, guys."

The President appeared in absolute discomfort making his speech after the incident, so much so that he failed to pass a smile to the crowd present, The Politico reports.

Obama followed it up the next day by wearing Dad Jeans - otherwise known as the Levis Obama while throwing the pitch while playing baseball.

The American first man was soon under fire from his hometown paper, the Chicago Tribune, for the fashion faux pas.

The newspaper said he was "lacking in style points on his short southpaw lob to home plate."

In fact columnists made fun of him for what they thought was an unacceptable get up for someone who is so easily assumed to be the coolest President in America till date.

Tanner Stransky, a writer for Entertainment Weekly joked on his blog "Did Obama's stylist come steal them from the closet of Frank Stransky?" apparently referring to his own father.

He posted: "I suppose President Obama is indeed a father, so we should allow him such a strike against humanity,"

"And I guess he couldn't have come out in skin-tight baseball pants (or, rather, why not?) or the suit pants that he normally dons. But my, oh my. I wasn't ready to see him in such an ill-fitting pair of what look like 501s. I thought he was cooler than that, somehow. This humanizing of the President doesn't sit so well with me."

    ... contd.
