It started with some hiccups and glitches but eventually when the concert 'Ek Ehsaas' by Ustad Ghulam Ali kicked off, it more than compensated for the wait. The Pakistani Ghazal singer from Patiala Gharana, who performed on Saturday at Mahalaxmi Lawns, Karve Nagar, enthralled the Pune audience with melodious and soothing ghazals and nazms like Hum Tere Sheher MeinAaye Hain, Ye Baatein Jhooti Baatein Hain, the evergreen Chupke Chupke Raat Din and many more. The variations in his presentations alongwith the way in which he interacted with the present audience in-between, gave the performance a touch of warmth and spontaneity. The surprise for the evening was Ghulam Ali's son, Aamir Ali Khan, who sang few numbers from his upcoming album with Asha Bhonsle like Naina re naina and Dheere Dheere. The magical moment of the concert was when the father-son duo sang Chupke Chupke as the evening concluded.
