A new beginning

Karthik Calling Karthik is one of the year’s most-awaited movies for many reasons. To begin with,it features the new screen pair of Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone,who looked quite the couple at the music launch on Wednesday night. The movie also marks the directorial debut of Vijay Lalwani who looked very kicked about his project on the evening and was all praise for producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan. The surprise package of the evening,however,was the introduction of music director Loy Mendonca’s daughter Alyssa who has lent her voice to the peppy number Uff Teri Adaa in KCK. Also present at the do were Shankar Mahadevan along with his son and Ehsaan Noorani,to complete the SEL trio.

Bummer Deepika was again spotted in a short dress,chunky bangles and gladiators. She certainly needs a style check.
