A new tone on ‘Black Day’

  • Traditionally, the whole of Kashmir observes October 27 as Black Day in protest against the landing of Indian troops in Srinagar in 1947. However, this year’s black day held in England had a unique touch. In a reversal of stand, the Kashmir National Party protested against the tribal invasion in 1947, with a strong attack on Pakistan for inciting the violence — taking aback a lot of watchers.
